This helmet introduces the first flip-up mask in lacrosse—changing the game and how you experience it.
No, this is a new helmet experience added to our lineup. We will still offer all of the Cascade helmets you love, including XRS Pro, XRS Youth, SL, CPV-R, and CSR.
At Cascade Lacrosse, we have a passion and priority to protect the athlete. Each of our helmets go through rigorous design and testing to meet all NOCSAE standards. The helmet has been certified to the relevant standards.
A flip-up mask allows players to effortlessly refuel, rest, and connect on the sidelines without having to take off their helmet.
Your first step is to fit your helmet with the new chin strap. Once that is secured, you can operate the flip up mask with gloves on or off by pressing the two buttons on the side of the mask. When you're ready to hit the field, pull the mask down and you will hear audible clicks when it is locked into place and ready for game action.
This is for adult, not youth, sizes. If you've been in the XRS Pro or SL, this is a great upgraded experience with the same fit range. It is offered in both player and goalie setups. When purchased with the throat protector for a goalie, the mask will be secured in place and not flip up.
